Position Summary

The Regulatory Compliance Officer will serve an instrumental role in ensuring that IGP Technologies acquires its licenses in core regulated markets and ensures that IGP Technologies remains compliant with licensing requirements, gaming compliance requirements and technical standards.

Key tasks for the  Regulatory Compliance Officer include ensuring day-to-day compliance with all license requirements such as reporting of key events as well as managing and assisting the process of mandatory audits and all other ad-hoc communication with the regulatory authorities, while at the same time building and maintaining close relationship with IGP Technologies points of contact at the regulatory authorities. A key task is furthermore to assess, evaluate and provide day-to-day gaming compliance advice related to new markets and to manage new licensing projects


  • Ensure that IGP Technologies maintains its current licenses in Malta by remaining compliant with all obligations imposed on IGP Technologies under such licenses held.
  • Manage the day-to-day compliance under such licenses by carrying out the mandatory reporting tasks as well as to manage all ad-hoc requests and communication in relation to the regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor the regulatory developments in IGP Technologies prospective/targeted jurisdictions and assess, and communicate to the wider organization, all relevant regulatory changes, and possible regulatory changes, affecting IGP Technologies.
  • Provide day-to-day support and gaming compliance advice to IGP Technologies technical Team,
  • Manage and drive the process and project of acquiring new licenses and/or entering new jurisdictions, as applicable, by IGP Technologies.
  • Assess product requirements related to new and existing markets to support the technical team.
  • Participate in the certification process conducted with 3rd party test houses.
  • Handle bug and product defects reported by test houses.
  • Keeping internal documentation and registers related to certification up to date.
  • Co-ordinate communication related to certification of our platform and components between the test house and internal stakeholders.
  • Reviewing Remote Technical Standards documents and performing gap analysis.
  • Liaise between IGP Technologies, and the applicable regulatory authorities, and respond to regulatory authorities’ enquiries and requests.
  • Proactively create strong, fruitful and long-lasting regulatory relationships with key regulatory stakeholders and test houses.

Key Skills

  • Test house experience
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, GIT and GITHUB is a plus.
  • Experience from B2B gaming compliance matters related to several markets.
  • Established good relations with the Malta Gaming Authority and any other Gaming Regulators.
  • Audit Experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years combined experience working within the i-gaming industry with B2B regulatory licensing and product/technical compliance experience in a regulated environment.
