UnPhiltered: The iGaming Winners and Losers of 2020

It is fair to say that our Phil Pearson is an outspoken personality in the iGaming industry, and has a bit of a feisty reputation – (especially on LinkedIn). In an industry that is sometimes a bit bland, we support such remarks because this can generate change or bring the reality around certain stories to attention. 

One such story from 2020 was the takeover of NetEnt by Evolution Gaming and the loss of 300 jobs at NetEnt close to the Christmas period. From the official channels of the companies, this was an amicable and beneficial takeover. However, in reality, it was much more controversial.
